Genuine Ceylon tea - an extraordinary heritage dating back to 1867.

Thanks to its expertise, technology and tradition spanning over 200 years of global tea production, Pure Ceylon tea has become a household name around the world. Captivating aromas, a wide range of shades of infusions, and delicious flavors are a real feast of experiences for both young and old. Ceylon teas also have a number of health benefits.

Currently, the production and sale of tea is Sri Lanka's main source of income, making it one of the leading exporters of this plant around the world. How did tea become a real breakthrough on the island? The history dates back to 1867, when James Taylor - a Scottish planter - created a tea garden with the intention of making money. Since then, the tea industry has grown in popularity. This happened, among others, thanks to companies such as John Walker & Co. and Marshall, Sons & Co., which helped implement tea processing equipment.

CEYLONE BLACK TEA

Black tea is the most popular variant of all types of Ceylon tea. It is characterized by a strong, distinctive, sometimes slightly bitter taste. It all depends on the type of brewed leaves, the altitude at which they were grown and whether they appear alone or combined with another type of tea leaves. Depending on these aspects and the class of tea, the infusion takes on different shades - from the darkest (dark brown) to the lightest (light orange). The color of the tea reflects its strength, aroma and taste.

CEYLONE GREEN TEA

Ceylon green tea is characterized by a woody, earthy taste and aroma, as well as a clearly darker shade of the infusion compared to its traditional counterparts from China and Japan. An example of such tea is Chunmee, which is characterized by a very light color of the infusion and a nutty taste on the tongue. Ceylon green tea is rich in flavonoids that help reduce free radicals in the body, which is why it is called the elixir of life. The infusion is particularly popular among people who care about their health, want to lose weight or achieve smooth, young-looking skin.

ORGANIC CEYLONE TEA

Society is becoming more and more aware of the benefits of consuming food and drinks whose ingredients have been grown in a 100% ecological way without the use of any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. Organic Ceylon tea is a product that meets this demand and has become an essential part of the global tea market. Organic tea leaves from Sri Lanka are picked with the greatest care and do not come into contact with synthetic growth stimulants, which affects their high quality and delicious taste.
